Description

My Flexi-Rex Collection: https://www.printables.com/de/@LockeDerBoss_86143/collections/1151181 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I made this Container Add-On for stashing a little christmas present for a friend. I printed the Flexi-Rexes on a 125% scale. I needed the space. I didnt print the container on 100%, and im not planing to, but i don't see a problem. It was printed with Filatech FilaFlexible40 on a Prusa i3 MK3S+, using a 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzle. I had better results using the 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. 0.3mm was too rough for my expectations. I chose 10% infill for cleaner bridging at the upper layers. The filament is quite sticky, but also likes to warp. I added a 3mm brim and 3 small round plates. I used a little bit of sunflower-oil to loosen it from the printbed (I don't know, if this made a big difference :) ) Pulling too hard while trying to remove the part from the printplate causes overstretching which causes white particles or stripes on your part-surface, which i wanted to prevent. It took like 10 minutes for me to remove both parts from the printplate. I also printed it with Fillamentum Filaflex 98A, which is better to remove from your printplate, but i prefere to softness of the Filatech 40D for this application. My reference model was https://www.printables.com/de/model/46241-flexi-rex-with-stronger-links you also see: https://www.printables.com/de/model/582985-remix-flexi-rex-or-flexi-dragon EDIT: I printed on 150% scale. Scaling higher then 125% causes the flange not to fit. I'll try to fix this soon.
