Description
This under-workbench holster design is similar to my hot glue gun holster. It is also printed in two parts - the top and bottom, connected, glued then reinforced with a plastic printed rod that's hammered into place. The adapter part grips the 'neck' of the heat gun creating a dovetail attachment point, this makes the design adjustable as you can scale the opening size to fit smaller and larger heat guns, but assuming you have a similar sized model (mine is from meectools), the adapter must be tightened on the heat gun using an M4 screw and nut, it's a non invasive process, you can later take it off if needed. for tighter grip on the heat gun, you can 'coat' the inner side of the adapter with hot glue to act as an elastic grippy inter-layer. When done right, the heatgun can be holstered and unholstered super quickly and conveniently which is great for common quick 3d prints post processing.
