Height Extension for KYZ HSW x Gridfinity Organiser - Mini

Introduction Adds an additional middle panel to the KYZ HSW x Gridfinity Organiser - Mini . This adds 7 hex extension for an 165mm height increase. Please common sense in designing your tool board or display - don't put heavy things right at the top and weigh down the bottom! Materials Any stiff material (PLA/ABS/PETG, etc) Whilst PLA will be fine for general indoor use, be wary of using PLA if this will be in a hot car, or in the sun on a warm day (especially if it's a dark colour) Print settings Tested with a 0.4mm nozzle. With this: If PETG - use 4 perimeters If PLA/ABS/ASA/PETG-CF/etc. - use 3 perimeters 4 bottom layers and 5 top layers Infill of your choice Print outer walls slowly for a strong part with consistent gloss level If your printer has an auxiliary fan, turn this off - the layer times are already high to ensure each layer is cooled before the next layer, and there are very few overhangs to worry about The rest is up to you General precautions apply for printing large parts - ensure your build plate is clean (wash with hot water and dish soap and dry with a clean towel), add mouse-ears and/or apply some glue in the corners if you often have adhesion issues.
