Description
Decided to use the Hero Me Gen7 for my EnderXY conversion. There were no gantry adapters I found that worked for me, so I made my own. Once assembled, I realized that the endstop would not actuate…so I did a quick cut on the Y endstop I'm using to make it fit. This build uses 1 of each model included. 8 heat inserts are used(3 for each side of the belt clamps and 2 more in the left belt clamp to mount the endstop arm). If you dont want to use the endstop solution I have included, just print 2 of the regular belt clamp. Photos are in step by step order. Will need to mount base to gantry adapter first, and then fix it to linear rail. It is easier to route the belts before screwing to linear rail. Next will be hot end and extruder…might have to angle the hot end in. Anything left after that can go on as you want. Happy Printing!
