Description

This handy little case became helpful when I attached a camera to the Pi Zero and needed it to stand up. This did the trick! It also folds flat for portability. It snaps in nicely to the end, hugging the button screws in the back. It has a space for the SD card so it doesn't get damaged. Just make sure you push the Pi evenly and straight into the clip, not at and angle. 23-Mar-23 Update: Version 2 is now available, and allows you to mount the Pi Zero with the camera port down so the camera is facing upright. Cut-outs were made to accommodate both the ribbon cable and SD card so it can replace Version 1. I've reduced the number of hinge components and spaced them out to avoid possible fusing of the joints at any layer height. There's also a ¼" hole on the bottom to mount it on a tripod or stand. Due to print orientation you may need to work it in a bit. There's also a camera mount made just for the Slim case, just screw it up top and pull the arms apart to fit any standard Pi camera with the 40mm cable: https://www.printables.com/model/427202-camera-mount-for-the-pi-zero-slim-case I made this with the Pi Zero 2 in mind, but don't see why the original Zero slim case wouldn't work. Just print sideways as in the STL. PLA is probably best for the print-in-place hinge. Enjoy!
