Description
Due to my bad habit of damaging my nozzle and hotend, I often had to dissassemble the HMG7 toolhead and getting the original groove mount out of the heatsink proved nearly impossible without causing damage to something. So I designed this. If this style of mount is good enough for The 100, I'm sure it will be fine for most printers. Additional Hardware: 2x M3 12mm screws 2x heat inserts (the kind that goes on the The 100 because I just forgot they were a different size from the HGM7 heat inserts)
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed for a printer, specifically a hotend mount with a groove for heat set inserts. It features a yellow plastic body with metallic screws and a silver mounting plate, intended to securely hold the hotend in place during . The design includes a groove that accommodates the heat set insert, which helps in maintaining the correct temperature for the process.
