Description

Pretty straightforward. This is for the GTRacing gaming chair that is available in store at Walmart. Loads of people have this chair so I am taking the time to upload this. I designed this to be really beefy and solid. The platform can be titled up and down with a fine adjustment screw before tightening down the arm. Its not true height adjustment but it does help. I made the platforms compatible with the mounting layout of 90% of HOTAS on the market. There is an included blank platform if you want to make something custom and you can always use 3M mounting tape as well. There is a test piece included to make sure the mount will fit your particular chair. If the test piece fits where mine is shown mounting, you should be good. It needs to go into the arm but also should be a snug fit. If for some reason it was too large I suppose you could scale it until it fit snugly then scale everything else the exact same way for this project. I can't guarantee they were molded all the same. Print Instructions Make sure printer is dialed in. Ensure you have good layer adhesion. I would recommend lots of walls and infill, especially on the base. I printed everything solid, personally. You should only need supports on the bolts holes of chairmount1 and chairmount1right. You need one of everything, except for the Base Bolts, you need two of each one. You do not need the blank base files if you want to use the one with mounting slots. Assembly/Use instructions If the arms of your chair are loose you will need to pop the covers off the bolt holes and tighten them up or it will seem tilted. The 'Right' side parts are ALL REVERSE THREAD. I didn't realize F360 couldn't mirror threads properly. If this gets any traction ill go change that. If the angleadjustment screw will not thread in, you can shrink it a couple percent in your slicer. Just shrink in the X and Y axis, Do not shrink the Z axis any. Set the angle for the base with the adjustment screw then tighten down the two bolts that attach it to the mount. You will need 8 M4x16 Or M4x20 screws. Two go on the bottom of the mount and two inside of it. You could do without the bottom ones but not the inner ones.
