I wanted to power mine through USB-C, so I added cutouts for a breakout board. Refer to the original for assembly instructions and other parts. Just replace the diffuser and box (slide-in frame) with these models. Additionally, you need: the blue board here (AliExpress). The blue one has 5.1k pull-down resistors, which tell a USB PD charger to supply 5V. two M2x4 screws You can solder the LED strip directly to the breakout board, or use the supplied headers and dupont connectors. There are two screw holes to secure the board. First pop in the diffuser (optional), then the breakout board.
