Hylian Shield (From Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild)

This is a model of the Hylian Shield from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild made specifically for multi-extruder printers. Please be aware that the colourized version of this model was not designed to be printed in pieces on a single-extruder machine and assembled afterwards. Use hylian_shield-onepiece.stl to get everything at once in a single colour. Print instructions The print in the cover photo was done on a quad extruder Prusa i3 MK2 MMU as follows: hylian_shield-body.stl silver PLA (extruder 1) hylian_shield-plate.stl navy PLA (extruder 2) hylian_shield-zigzags.stl silver PLA (extruder 1) hylian_shield-triforce.stl gold PLA (extruder 3) hylian_shield-triforce_center.stl navy PLA (extruder 2) hylian_shield-phoenix_flat.stl red PLA (extruder 4) In addition to the .stl files used in my print, I have included the following: hylian_shield-phoenix_raised.stl : This can be used in place of the flat.stl version if you prefer the phoenix to be raised off of the shield plate rather than level with it. hylian_shield-onepiece.stl : This can be used to print everything at once in a single colour/material. Note that this uses the raised version of the phoenix, as it would otherwise blend right into the shield plate. Note that I only needed hylian_shield-triforce_center.stl because the version of Slic3r PE that I used when this was designed refused to play nicely with the central triangle in plate.stl . PrusaSlicer (and newer versions of Slic3r PE) may not require it. When printed at 100% size, the shield measures approximately 124mm x 100mm. Happy printing!
