Description

This model enables you to use your ikea fniss trashcan as a water reservoir for your hydroponic tower. The Ikea Fniss trashcan is quiet cheap (2.50€ in Germany) so its a good option especially for smaller towers. I designed a normal lid and one with a hole for cable and refill. There is a plug to close the hole too. This design uses the Module_Adapter_Custom.stl from the original design as connector to screw your tower on. I just glued everything together. The 4 quarters can be screwed together using m3 screws. Adjust to your needs. I provide the onshape project: Link Guide Print 3 of “Fniss Lid quarter part” - from this printable page 1 of “Fniss Lid quarter Part with hole” - from this printable page 1 "Fniss Lid hole plug" - from this printable page 1 “Module_Adapter_Custom.stl” - from the other printable page Asseble einter (or both) glue and screw all 4 lid plates together after it dried, glue the “Module_Adapter_Custom” to your lid. This makes the whole connection even stronger Just snap the whole thing onto your fliss trashcan Leave a comment for feedback, a make and like :) Have fun
