Description
I've wanted to print the Prusa IKEA Lack table enclosure since the day I got my first printer, and now I have one worth building it for. I noted the files which were modified in the file descriptions. The biggest change that I made was modifying the bottom frame corner pieces, as well as the Lack table Stack Couplers. The bottom frame corners originally attached to the top of the table below with a wood screw. Because I'm doing a free-standing enclosure “cube”, I wanted to add the Stack Couplers to keep the enclosure from moving around due to the printer movement inside. I added a hole in the “insert” that will allow the use of an M6x70mm flat-head furniture screw. The bottom frame corners have M6 heat inserts in the bottom, which the bolt from the Stacking coupler to secure it to the table. I also filled the unneeded hole in the top of the bottom corner frames. I also designed a drilling guide to make assembly easier. Simply put the alignment guide tight against the corner of the table and mark the holes center. Only drill the hole furthest from the outside corner of the tables corner. The second hole is unnneeded. Note: there is a second hole, close to the outside corner of the frame pieces. Ignore these holes because they were intended to be used for alignment pins, which turned out to be unneeded. I included all of the files that were necessary to do a complete build. The top frame corners are 80mm. Printing guidelines: Use PETG or better filament 4 layers minimum for the walls, tops and bottoms Bottom corner frames require a modifier with 8 walls for the center hole on the bottom of each
