Description
Blizzard's Improved reusable spool is a good and sturdy design, but I wanted a deisgn with smaller hexagons, and while I was at it, I made a variant with 1 mm thicker sides and a variant with a label field. To print a complete spool, you need: 1x Spool_part1 1x Spool_part2 Parts/variants with/without labels and +1mm can be swapped around freely, the changes only affect the outer sides of the spool. The spool works flawless with Sunlu refills, I haven't tested it with other brands. I have also added my workfiles ("Design parts") in case you wanna modily the design yourself. The parts can easily be modified and combined Prusa Slicer using the cut-tool, export/import stl, resize, etc. No use of 3d Cad software is needed. Printing recommendations: The pattern is optimised to 0.6 nozzle. Slow down first layer. Enable Avoid Crossing Perimeters in print settings. This may add significant print time, but it will give much better finish if you are prone to stringing.
