Description ⚽ Modular PVC Soccer Net Frame — Collapsible Build a full-size backyard soccer net for under $30 in materials using off-the-shelf ¾" PVC conduit from Home Depot and a handful of 3D-printed brackets. This modular system snaps together without glue — it folds flat for easy storage and sets up in minutes. How It Works The printed brackets friction-fit inside the PVC pipe and are secured with M5 bolts, creating rigid joints that hold their shape under use but break down quickly when you want to pack up. The corner brace system keeps the net standing upright, and a built-in notch on the folding pieces prevents the frame from hinging past 90° — no accidental collapses mid-game. 🔩 Hardware 20 x M5 40mm long bolts and nuts per net. Cheaper net option here ( https://a.co/d/0cKjsaHH ). 🔧 PVC Conduit — 9× 10 ft lengths of ¾" Schedule 40 PVC ( Home Depot Canada ). Cut list: 2 pieces @ 104" — top bar and back bottom edge 4 pieces @ 58" — side uprights 2 pieces @ 24" — diagonal corner braces Other assembly notes: Corner braces keep the net upright. The notch on the folding pieces stops them from hinging past 90°. Spindle pieces fit inside the corner joints so the hinge pivots cleanly and the bolt can be tightened firmly in place. The orange lever is a removal tool for the corner brace when folding the net down — it's a very tight friction fit on the pipe over the netting, so you'll want it! This is a great weekend project and a huge upgrade from flimsy pop-up nets. Print, cut, bolt, and play. 🏆 NOTE: This solution is not as portable as the fiberglass tent pole design I am replacing. Our league keeps the net at the gym, but this version is much sturdier and quicker to set up and collapse. The fiberglass tent poles broke inside the sleeve after only a couple of months of use, splitting lengthwise from the abuse of balls hitting them. I built this to last much longer than the original product we purchased on Amazon.
