iPhone and Apple Watch Charging Mount for Articulated Arm

This is a mount to use with Apple's MagSafe Charger AND the Apple Watch Magnetic Fast Charger . It uses a 1/4-20 heat insert to allow it to attach to an articulated arm (sometimes referred to as "magic arms," such as SmallRig's " Desktop Shooting Magic Arm with Crab Clamp Kit " to float the iPhone and Apple Watch over the desk rather than use a stand sitting on the desk surface. I designed it to use the Apple puck chargers and an articulated arm I already had. The iPhone remains visible and usable (in vertical or horizontal orientation), the watch is hidden behind simply to charge. Both cables are routed cleanly out the back to wrap/attach to the arm (on the way to whatever charger port is available on/behind the desk). I've included cable clips I designed (that fit my SmallRig arms with 13mm diameter). The hole on center back is sized for a 1/4-20 heat insert (of any length) to connect to standard 1/4-20 arm/camera mounts. Also, the four holes around the outside work with ARRI anti-twist pins (ream them out slightly with a 3mm drill bit if the ARRI pins don't easily engage). Note: The cable that wraps around the bottom from the iPhone charger puck is routed off to one side. Route the cable from the Watch charger puck to the other side and both cables will tuck away neatly. Also, the dimensions on the recesses for press-fitting the charging pucks matter. Print with settings that adjust for the shrinkage of whatever filament you use. With my filament profiles that have (measured) shrinkage compensation included they fit the pucks perfectly--not hard to press them in, but tight enough that they stay put in use.
