Description
Remix of Flipped 3D Printed Fabric (by codfish06) with Skull and Crossbones (by Sev in openclipart.org). No MMU is required. Like the rest of my remixes it prints face down and the colour changes can be done manually. The graphics tiles are 0.3mm thick so if the first layer is 0.25 - 0.3 mm only one colour change should be required in the slicing. The rest of the fabric is good enough at 0.2 mm. When changing colours manually, with white on a black fabric, like the example I made, a single white layer might appear dull. In my example (PLA, 0.4mm nozzle) I chose 0.2 mm for the first layer also and the slicer made two layers of the tiles. The printing order went like this: 1st layer: black Background → colour change → white Skull 2nd layer: white Skull → colour change → black Background 3rd layer to the end : black Fabric links Some black stringing ended up on some of the white tiles but they look a bit like small cracks in the bones.
