Description
Kawasaki Ninja 650 Quadlock Stem Mount Handlebar Adapter I bought a Quadlock Stem Mount Pro for my 2010 Ninja 650 and found out that it didn't quite work as I thought it would. So instead of returning it, the only logical thing to do was to fabricate my own adapter. Fits onto Kawasaki OEM part #46012-0059. Compatible models: 2009 Kawasaki ER-6n (ER650-C9F) — Ninja 650 twin in naked trim 2010 Kawasaki ER-6n (ER650-CAF) 2011 Kawasaki ER-6n (ER650-CBF) 2009–2016 Kawasaki Ninja 650R / Ninja 650 (EX650 variants) — includes ABS and later model years V1: Centered mount with basic chamfer on outside V2: Thicker plate with offset Quadlock mount V3: Cut off width and added offset convex to allow room to turn key in ignition, made Quadlock mount taller. V4: Designed full plate to cleanly sit on OEM handlebar bracket. V5: Added an extended curve and base around and to Quadlock mount to increase strength when attaching/removing phone. Increased mount height. As the original bracket uses 8mm-1.25 x 30mm Coarse Socket Cap Bolt. Adding on the Quadlock plate adapter, I needed longer bolts. My bolt setup in order: 8mm-1.25 x 40mm coarse socket cap bolt 8mm ID - 15mm OD washer 10mm ID - 18mm OD washer The 18mm OD washer fits perfect into the washer recesses. I used 2 washers to compensate for the fact that I couldn't find an 8mm ID 18mm OD washer. My final version, I print in Silk PLA with 100% infill. I know many might say 100% infill is overkill, but seeing that this effectively holds on my handlebars, I wanted that extra strength.
