Description

After printing the Gravity Knife by 3DPeter, my son had the idea of designing a his own ‘kid-friendly’ version of the blade that also incorporated one of the pegs. This new blade should print around 30 minutes or so and fit nicely into your print of 3DPeter's Gravity Knife (as long as your gravity knife hasn’t been glued together). Give this blade version a try. (Check out the newer stl) The interchangeable blade is a fun idea and we might try out a few different designs. We hope this blade is enjoyed. Thanks to 3DPeter for their great design. Printing: Supports are not needed. Layer height: 0.2mm (or other). Line width: Default. Perimeters: 3 recommended. Horizontal shells (solid layers): top-3, bottom-3. Infill: (enough to support top layers.) Also, one can increase the number of perimeters and remove the top and bottom layers, leaving the infill of choice (or none) visible. (2/2025: The stl has been updated and is slightly different than what's in the photos. Newer model includes more beveling along the backside and bottom corners of the blade. Shortened the attached peg and added ‘grip rings’ to the top.)
