Description

A top-shelf freezing issue in a KitchenAid refrigerator is often caused by blocked air vents at the back of the shelves. There is even a sticker that says: "Blocking these air vents may cause uneven cooling and/or food freezing on top shelf" I got sick of jars accidentally moving to the back and blocking those downward vents, so I made these gizmos. They are pretty easy to slip onto the back of the shelves - start out sideways and then turn the slot toward the shelf. There are three different shapes, just in case one seems more aerodynamic to you (I'm not an engineer). Happy to tweak it or share the TinkerCad files if anybody wants. They are pretty basic. My fridge is Model #KRSC536RPS, if that makes any difference.
