Description
I found a couple of good models but never quite the right thing. I stumbled upon @WHerzog who had a better screw with a thread that didn't sag on the print bed. While this was excellent - I found it wasn't correctly sized for the MakeDo mini tool. I also found that the screw end was way too big, great for little fingers but frustrating for printing quickly in bulk. I printed a LOT of different screws to see what worked and what didn't - then settled on this design. I completely redesigned and modelled a new screw eyeballing the thread angles from the WHerzog's design. I then re-designed the top to fit the MakeDo tools and adapted @MoreDork_1305131 's idea of an anti-suffocation hole. I also made it a little shorter because I noticed height is a big contributor to print time - but still long enough to bite two bits of thick cardboard together. Printed at 0.3mm with 20% infill in PLA. Works great! With my settings, single screw print time is 12min and you can fit 120 on the bed which prints in about 19 and a half hours. The knurling helps with grip and it SHOULD fit with existing MakeDo compatible accessories - but so far I've only tested it with the pulley found here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/simple-pulley-for-makedo-scru
