When fitting a Lambretta kickstart shaft it is very common for the square end of the shaft to 'lip' the oil seal and for the garter spring to fall off. Fitting this 3D printed cone to the shaft before insertion in the side casing can help to ease the shaft through the oil seal without disruption.
