Description
This is a press-ft lid/top/cap for a prescription refill bottle with an approximate ID of 46mm. I use these to repurpose refill bottles to use as desiccant holders. By default, they print solid, so if you plan to use them as I do, please read my instructions below. This is my first 3D design, so it's pretty basic. I scoured various 3D printing libraries and couldn't find what I was looking for, so here we are. I was looking for an easy to use lid for these bottle, which I have a surplus of. This just presses in, using friction to stay in place. The inside of these bottles have a slight bump, which these lids press against. I've applied a slight chamfer to the design to allow for easier insertion. I printed this with basic PLA. To achieve the grid affect, I disable printing the top and bottle layers in printer settings and adjust my infill pattern and percentage to suit my needs. For this particular print, I printed on a Prusa Mini+, .20mm speed, .4mm nozzle, infill pattern grid, 30%. **update: 30% infill might not be enough. I'm noticing that some of the smaller beads are getting stuck or falling through.
