Want to add more light to your Prusa XL's EnXLosure ? This LED Light Bar Mount augments PeterM 's EnXLosure 2-Part Top Panel (Top R2) and Voxel3D_Nederland 's excellent EnXLosure Prusa XL Enclosure system, providing a mount to hold an LED Light Bar I found on Amazon at this link: https://a.co/d/3biZhzf This is a quick, easy, low cost route to adding more light to your enclosed Prusa XL that does not require reprinting EnXLosure components or much effort beyond printing a mount and wire clips for cable management. I feel the LED light bar I found on Amazon does a good job of matching the aesthetic of the Prusa XL and resembles the build area's LEDs. Materials you'll need: Jusjubr LED Light Bar - https://a.co/d/3biZhzf 4 (four) M3x12mm screws 4 (four) M3x3 or M3x4 heat set inserts Filament able to withstand the internal temperatures of your EnXLosure, like ASA Soldering iron to install heat set inserts Assembly The LED light bar slides into the light bar mount with a snug fit. To attach the light bar mount to the 2-Part Top Panel, you will replace a one or more of the screws holding together the two parts of the Top Panel along the front and one of the sides with longer 12mm M3 screws. Thread the 12mm screws all the way through the two parts of the top panel, then into the M3 heat set inserts on the light bar mount along the front of the EnXLosure and cable clips along one side. Use a soldering iron to install the heat set inserts into the holes on the printed light bar mount(s) and wire clips. Slide the LED light bar onto the light bar mount(s). Attach the light bar mount(s) and wire clips to the 2-Part Top panel using the 12mm screws. Attach the light bar's USB cable to the wire clips along the side of the EnXLosure toward the back, then down and out through the hole in the bottom of tool bay 5 or tool bay 1 depending on which side you installed your wire clips. Time for lights - plug the end of the USB cable into a working power source and toggle the inline power button to power on the light if needed. LED Light Bar Mounting Options - Select One Below You have options when it comes to mounting your light bar: 1 (one) light-bar-mount-small.stl - A single print of the light-bar-mount-small.stl model file will hold the light bar in place if you would like to keep things simple and minimize filament usage. 2 (two) light-bar-mount-small.stl's - using two of the small mounts will ensure the light bar is always aligned parallel to the front profile of the EnXLosure. 1 (one) light-bar-mount-large.stl - Measuring 310mm in length, this mount is a few mm longer than the LED light bar itself, spanning the width of the front profile of the EnXLosure. This model has 4 holes for heat set inserts. If your 2-part Top Panel is anything like mine, at least one of your screw holes is extremely tight or does not quite line up, so you might've skipped a screw hole or two up there like I did. Use as many of the mounting points as make sense for your situation. In my EnXLosure, I'm only using the middle two screws to hold my light bar mount in place. 1 (one) light-bar-mount-large-with-shade.stl - For my EnXLosure, I wanted a shade to keep the LED lights from shining in my face when I sit at my desk across the room, so I've included that model and encourage you to remix my designs with your own ideas for shades, diffusers, etc. Don't forget a couple prints of wire-clip.stl to keep the light bar's USB cable tidy!
