LEGO DUPLO compatible Fire Truck

My daughter loves her DUPLO bricks—and she loves fire trucks! For her second birthday, I designed and printed this custom model. This is a Duplo-compatible fire truck with a fully functional ladder, created from scratch. Its design is inspired by classic ladder trucks and intended as a fully playable toy. Features: Rotating and Telescopic Ladder: The ladder can be raised and extended, just like a real fire truck, and includes a rescue basket at the end. Dual Rear Wheels: For improved stability and a realistic look, the rear axle is equipped with twin tires. Opening Side Compartments: Each side of the truck has two large compartments that open, providing storage for small accessories or equipment. Construction: Printed in PETG for strength. The cabin is secured using eight 6×3 mm magnets. Parts can also be glued; I used a combination of super glue and small M2.3×5 screws. Tires are press-fitted onto the rims. Durable Play Components: Some flexible parts are printed in TPU to withstand play: The safety railing is flexible to prevent breakage. Tires are also TPU, giving them a realistic look and a softer, grippier feel. Additional Notes: A .3mf file is included with this project, in which all parts are pre-arranged by color and material, ready for printing.
