Description
I bought one of those cheap video cameras (sold under various weird Chinese brand names -- this one is the "MWIRB" brand, and on the box it says "Songdian Technology Co.), supposedly resolution and frames rates of 8K@15fps, 6K,5K,4K@30fps, 1080@60/30, 720@60/30fps. There seems to be many cameras on Amazon that look exactly like this one, and probably are. It comes with a hood, but when the hood is installed, the supplied lens cap doesn't fit -- supplied cap only works without the hood -- poor design! So I made this simple cap out of TPU and it works fine. The diameter of the hole that this cap plugs into is 32mm and seems to be slightly tapered, so the cap stays put.
