Description
I started making the LHTCU by Dalardan and ended up adding a bunch of new things or at least planning them out. I remixed the ptback to have a picatinny rail on the underside in order to use something like Captain Slug's foregrip key to install a proper stock butt plate sometime later in the future. There is also a slot cutout that can be used to “tune” the blaster. Essentially you can just slide one or more of the elastic cords into the slot and it becomes set-apart from the plunger mech. It is not perfect now, but it works fairly well. The tuning slot should be sanded down because the elastic could start to fray on the rough surface. I rearranged the model to be printed on the opposite side, but it will still need supports. There may also be open edge errors that show up in the slicer (I did it in Tinkercad--which also means no STEP), however, that had never been a problem for me. EDIT: Stock added The stock is simple and plain, but comfortable and adequate for general use. It looks fine and I plan on eventually making a better one, so no additional aesthetic details were implemented. The butt is remixed from the Skeggox stock on the Alchemist, and the pic keeper is a resized piece from Captain Slug's angled foregrip. The clips are my design used to snap the butt and the mount together. No glue or hardware is required for anything.
