Description

A modular hydroponic tower with hexagonal base. This is a smaller hydroponic tower (dimensions: 36cm x 40cm x 64.5cm). All parts should fit even on the smaller bed sizes. The model consists of segments that can be connected to build a shell that would hold the net pots. Single level of a tower consists of 6 segments. Same goes for the base and the lid on the top. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media The main body parts are connected using the connector stick that can be assembled by connecting two pieces that function as the support for printing the main body segments. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media The connector sticks are inserted through the slots at the ends of the main body segments. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media This is how the first level is built. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media The next level is built the same way, and tops of the connector sticks are inserted on the slots in the middle of the main body segments. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media The lid for the top is assembled by connecting the parts at the ends and on the top as shown on the image below. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Same goes for the base segments. Now that you have connected everything you can put the tower into the base, lid on top of the tower, and net pots in their places. Your hydroponic tower shell is finished! 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media What's left to do is the piping on the inside. There is enough space in the base for a water reservoir and a smaller pump. Net pots can be bought, but I uploaded two versions of the models I used for my tower, as these are standard 5cm net pots. One net pot version is somewhat optimized for 3D printing. I'm not able to 3D print this, as I don't own a 3D printer yet, but I did my best to ensure that all of the parts can be printed without, or with as little supports as possible.
