Lockable Vise Miniature Handle For Painting

I loved the original design of this tool , though i found myself nervous while using it, especially if it has been greased well, that it might loosen accidentally. I have modelled on an external locking washer to prevent this from happening. There are 2 files for the top and collar. one has smaller gaps between the teeth of the threads, thus making a tighter fit. This is really up to your printer capabilities, but if you are unsure the regular version is the one I would go with. Assembly instruction same as the original model ( Vise Miniature Holder For Painting by 3D Printing Dude | Download free STL model | Printables.com ), but with one additional step: While the jaws are retracted within the outer diameter of the top piece, simply thread the collar over the top. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media USAGE: with the collar loosened adjust the jaws appropriately on the minature. Following that, turn the collar down until it is snug. Attempting to loosen the jaws while the collar is in place will tighten the collar, thus creating a snugger grip.
