Longtos - The Ontos Long Dart Remix

These mod parts will let you fire long darts on an Ontos. Why? My kid has a ton of long darts and it's a pain to separate them all. Plus, I just wanted to see if I could do it. Tested with Nerf and Worker long dart magazines. I even put a Worker Talon mag adapter in it to get real weird. Still works and will fire both sizes of darts. This replaces seven Ontos parts: Center Left Center Right Mag Release Breech Priming Bar Ram Optic Rail All other parts are standard Ontos build parts and uses the standard hardware. The mag release is thinner to allow for room if you want to use a Worker Talon mag adapter. I have no idea why anyone would want to do this, but it works. Otherwise, the parts are lengthened as needed for the long dart mags. A clearance notch is also needed on the underside of the priming bar for the long dart mags because of a molded feature on the nerf mag feed lips. This may weaken the priming bar slightly and I did not test it with any spring in excess of 1.4mm diameter. So, I wouldn't recommend using anything over the 1.4mm diameter spring at this time. Happy to update this later if anyone wants to test a bigger spring. All standard Ontos print settings and assembly instructions still apply. I added the new step files if you want to mod something. Wear safety goggles while using and don't shoot your eye out.
