Description
My next atempt at recreating rims for Turtleman's Low Poly Cars - this time for Ferrari F40. These wheels are 4-part print and I strongly recommend printing the rims at < 0,1 mm layer height and the rest at < 0,16 mm . Also, turning on ironing for rims work well for me. For this model, you need 0,4 mm nozzle or less, as the perimeters are very thin. This time I only made one revision that uses threaded connection between the Stem and Wheel. Rim and Middle Inserts can be glued in place but are designed to just pop in place. If anyone wants, I can add gcodes of 3mf files with optimised settings for MK3S+ with 0,4 mm nozzle. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media All printed parts. Print the Stem and Middle Insert with brim enabled! 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Rim pops in place and so does the Middle Insert. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Stem screws into the Wheel. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Complete assembly (no glue needed). I hope you will like the model and if you have any issues or/and suggestions, let me know.
