Description
While many of my Gaggia-related models are specifically designed for the Gaggiuino project, this one is not. People requested a standalone version of my low-profile scales drip tray from the Gaggia Classic | Pro Scales , so here it is! Compatibility: Works with all Gaggia Classic and Gaggia Classic Pro / Eco / Evo models. It is untested with the EU 2015-2018 Gaggia Classic V2 (the one with no solenoid valve), but should work. I don't have access to one so please let me know if you try it so I can update! Features: Reliable print (consistent walls, connected pathing for first layer, optimized overhangs, only one bridge) waterproof without needing an epoxy coat (assuming the print doesn't have major issues) dishwasher safe (tested multiple times with no effects noted) position stop on the topside of the rubber feet to avoid rattling against the water tank (and a version that fully surrounds the feet to further limit movement) 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Print settings: PETG 0.4 mm nozzle / line width 4 top and bottom layers 3 wall lines supports aren't needed, though a support at the pull handle bridge can help if you get sagging Other Parts: A longer vent tube is ideal for low-profile trays. Tube specs: Stainless Steel, 6 mm OD, 5 mm ID, cut to length (154-158 mm is good for most Gaggia Classic machines with this tray) Example Tube: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256803263390232.html Example Tube Cutter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256803055259414.html Changelog: 2026-01-29 - Added full location (fLoc) versions that fully surround the housing feet for more limited movement (tray must be lifted to install and remove) 2025-01-31 - Separated into versions with handle cutout and versions without
