Description
At first it might seem this is quite clever, as it doesn't need a phone stand to stay upright on your desk, and you can hang it on something for a more flattering camera angle in Teams meetings. It's also very customizable with existing Lucky 13 ecosystem of mods. However, there are some serious drawbacks. This case with limbs won't fit most pockets, and if it does, the limbs might fall off when taking it out. The limbs will also get in the way if you need to make phone calls without a wireless headset. It will also look like a child's phone. I have used this stupid case on my work phone for half a year and will continue to do so. Assembly Modified models you need to print Case Stretched armatures for upper and lower arms Stretched skins for upper and lower arms, also alternative v2 uppers that stay on better than originals No need to print the separate ball joint The rest of the parts come from the original Lucky13 model at 150% size Hands, with skins Feet, with skins Shoulders, with skins Printing Lucky13 hands, feet and shoulders should be printed at 150% size , the long arm pieces included here are already scaled, so they're ready to go. I like PETG through a 0.6mm nozzle for Lucky13 and phone cases. This is a “hard” case, so flex filament is not needed, and may actually produce a case that is too soft. Regarding bed adhesion, the ball joints may be tricky due to small bottom surface area, maybe wash fingerprints off the bed before printing, and/or use a brim. I have a different phone! This remix is very simple to reproduce for your specific phone model. Just take the ball joint piece (il13_balljoint.stl) and find a case for your phone on Printables, then mash them together. At least you can use these silly long arms, hopefully? (edit: resized the camera hole smaller so it should look nicer on the SE, but can't test print until later, so I'm leaving the original case with too_big_camera_hole in the filename)
