Description
I wanted to use the magnetic couplers but wanted to stay away from Fusion360. Working around the PC4-M10 socket, I reworked the magnet cups so they aren't in contact and risk pulling out when you disconnect. The magnets are inserted from the opposite side. Included STL are designed for ¼" puck magnets. I have a bunch of neodymium magnets of that size from Lee Valley Tools . Very strong, hold firmly even through 2mm of PLA. The caps are to be used to somewhat protect the extending filament from air. There is an included Freecad project with editable parameters so you can change magnet size. To export the caps, just select both parts at the same time.
