Description

Are you tired of covering your fantastic creation station with the strongest of stickiness juices? Have you ever lost some of the glued disks of proximity tethering to the unintended spike of baseplates entropy? Fret no more for I present the magnet-slide-in baseplate! The 2x6 mm magnets can be inserted into the slots on the sides of where you would normally glue the magnet. No supports needed, the magnets just slot into their new homes and can be extracted easily later if need be, without damaging the print or magnets. All you need is a pair of tweezers, a needle or a piece of wire! The grids are fully modular with the use of dovetail connectors, so you can connect them however you see fit. Enjoy! For me the prints worked with PLA and PETG. I have not tested other materials. I plan on making every grid up to 8x8, some other baseplates and maybe some slide in bins if ill figure out how, so stay tuned! The print was based on Zack Freedmans baseplate with the dimentions from https://gridfinity.xyz/ and the dovetail connector idea by aTm_wRECr
