This magnetic 4-Inch Voron fume exhaust connector remixes the ring from JCShumpert 's Magnetic Fume Exhaust (4 inch duct) for EnXLosure Backpanel for use in the Voron world. My hexagonal snorkel-style design extends up and over the top of your enclosure to save space while providing a strong magnetic connection that allows you to move the exhaust hose to another machine easily. Prints with no support needed when printed @ 0.2mm layer height using a 0.4mm nozzle, or 0.3mm layer height using a 0.6mm nozzle - print in the orientation received in the .stl, like this: 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Materials You'll Need You will need somewhere around 32 (thirty two!) 6x3mm (6mm diameter, 3mm high) round neodymium magnets to fill all of the magnet holes. Use N52 grade magnets for a really strong connection. Print in PETG, ASA, ABS, PC, something strong and able to withstand some heat. Assembly Notes I realized when assembling mine that the magnet holes were not quite deep enough after filling the top panel with 16 magnets, two stacked on top of each other. For the slip ring, I used 8 magnets, press-fit into but not all the way to bottom of those magnet holes. The connection seems plenty strong to me and now I have 8 magnets to spare.
