Description
This is a magnetic base for the Adjustable PCB Holder Tool. This can be useful if you have a metal base that you are working on, such as with the Helping Hands tool. Each mount is printed separately so that the pillars can be positioned any distance apart. If you want them to be aligned, then there is an additional connecting rod that can be fitted to join the two ends. Assembly instructions: Print 2 of the bases Glue 4 neodymium magnets into each base (8mm x 3mm) (optional) Add a 4mm M3 heatset insert into the top centre hole - this will allow you to lock the position of the connecting rod with a 10mm M3 bolt
AI Analysis: This object is a mechanical tool designed for holding and stabilizing circuit boards (PCBs) during assembly or repair. It features a magnetic base that securely attaches to a magnetic surface, allowing the PCB to be held firmly in place. The adjustable clamps provide precise positioning for the PCB, while the magnetic attraction ensures the board remains stable during the process. Notable features include the red rubberized grips on the clamps for enhanced handling and the visible PCB with electronic components.
