Description

Ever spent minutes (or hours…) trying to remember which filament is on which spool? Meet your new little helper: the Magnetic Label Frame for RepRack . Slide in a 64×37 mm label, snap it onto your 28 mm IKEA HUGAD rod , and voilà – instant organization! Each frame holds a tiny 6×3 mm neodymium magnet , giving it a surprisingly strong grip while weighing barely 6 g – lighter than a slice of bread, but much more useful. Why you’ll love it: Easy to update: swap labels faster than your coffee gets cold Magnetic, yet featherlight: stays put without bending your rods No more mystery spools: finally, your PLA, PETG, and “what-is-this?” filament are clearly labeled A small piece of plastic, a tiny magnet, and a bit of ingenuity – sometimes the simplest ideas make the biggest difference in your Maker life. Tips & Tricks for Maximum Filament Happiness: Print a unique frame for each filament roll – see the actual color of your filament at a glance! Perfect for those rare or fancy spools. Downside: it takes a bit of printing time if you have a huge collection. Print frames by material type – PLA in one color, PETG in another, etc. You can print multiple frames at once (up to 12 on a Prusa MK4/S or CoreOne), making it super fast to equip your whole rack. Material sorting has never been easier! Label creation made easy – initially, I thought about 3D-printing the labels too, but with 70 rolls in my collection, I switched to printing labels on paper using Word. Fast, flexible, and easy to update – especially if your filament stash keeps growing! Printing information The STL file ist correctly aligned. Nozzle: 0.4 mm Layer height: 0.2 mm Perimeter: 2 Infill: 10 % Brim: recommended Support: no Magnet insertion: insert a 6×3 mm neodymium magnet by adding a pause in your slicer at Layer #46 (9.2 mm) .
