Description
This is a realistic 3D-printed wood log slice with hidden magnets. You can use a single slice as a beautiful nature-inspired fridge magnet, or print multiple slices to create a satisfying magnetic slider/fidget toy! The model consists of two main parts: The Bark (Base): Features textured edges and hidden slots for magnets. The Wood Grain (Plates): Detailed tree rings that are glued to the top and bottom of the base. Hardware required: 3x Neodymium magnets (5x2 mm) per wood slice. Super glue (CA glue). Steps: Print the "Bark" base and two "Wood Grain" plates. Insert the three 5x2 mm magnets into the slots inside the bark base. (Note: If you are printing multiple slices to use as a fidget toy, make sure to check the polarity of the magnets so the slices attract and slide against each other correctly!) Apply a small amount of super glue to the base. Press the wood grain plates onto the top and bottom of the base to seal the magnets inside. Enjoy!
