Description

You can set the Marker holder to one of the three centerline heights for the 1, 1-1/4 and 1-1/2" tubes. With the tube laying horizontal you slide the marker holder along its length and it marks the centerline. The rubber band helps hold light tension of the marker so that it marks consistently. The marker has a clicker (just like a mechanical pencil), as the tip wears down you can click out more, and you can purchase "Refills" for the marker from any store that sells Hobart welding supplies (i.e. amazon etc.). NOTE: M3 threaded Brass Inserts where used in this print for the 5 M3 x 12mm SHCS, the inserts are 4mm tall and 4.2mm OD. The print settings: PETG, 4-walls, 30% infill, 0.4mm tip, 255C tip, 70C bed, I also used a brim with ZERO spacing, 6-outlines, 2 layers thick to make sure the small(er) parts stayed stuck down. (obviously you will need to trim these off with your clean up). The parts have "indexing" features to line them up and keep them 90 degrees to each other to be super-glued together. The Rubber Band, you may need to fool around with a rubber band of some type that will hold enough tension so it marks consistently, but not to much pressure that would crush or wear down the tip to fast. NOTE2: (the purpose of the centerline mark along the length of the tubing is for indexing/clocking the tube correctly when using a Tubing Bender (I use Rogue Fab).
