Description
History: A project by MTM amidst rising geopolitical tensions, Main Battle Tank 99 or 'Arthur' for short is a new attempt at a cheap, disposable, yet resilient armored fighting vehicle. Modern warfare challenges lead to three versions of the Arthur: The Standard A; A classic rear-engine set-up. The Type B; An engine-front, crew-back positioning. And the Variant X; A fully remote-operated vehicle. The Type B onward features an unmanned turret, allowing a four-chamber, auto-loading mechanic in addition to long-range secondary weaponry. Meanwhile, all 3 crews are to be stationed mid-hull, with extra back space to house infantry. And should the turret blow out, the Arthur is designed to retreat for a replacement. The Arthur '95' on the other hand is intended to be the export, discount, peacekeeping version. Both the Arthur 95 and 99 exist only in 3D-printed scale models. Notes: A 1:100 scale original model of the MBT 95 Arthur A/B/X is available here, parts as follows: (1) Hull, (2), Turret Ring, (3) Turret, (4) Main Cannon, (5) Commander's Cupola, (6) Gunner's Cupola, (7) Cope Cages, & (8) Roof Viewports.
