Description
I have extended the model of @HackerJack42 with a stepper motor (28BYJ48 with ULN2003). I got the idea to use this stepper motor from @Summons. For this I have redrawn the base so that all components can be installed and supplied by USB-C. I also changed the gear ratio in the base to 1:4. The switch is not a mechanical switch but the "TTP223B Capacitive Touch Switch". Additionally I wrote a small arduino program (i used Visual studio Code and platformio) for an ESP8266 which controls the stepper motor and which also contains the WebUi. The planetarium connects to a registered wlan and if it is not available it automatically creates an access point with the same IP address after 12 seconds. On the WebUi 5 speeds can be selected or the stepper motor can be stopped. WLAN, AP and IP address settings must be adjusted in the *.ino file. I printed all parts with my Sidewinder X1 and for some parts a support is needed. You also need some M3 screws and the following parts: TTP223B Capacitive Touch Switch Module https://www.amazon.com/HiLetgo-TTP223B-Capacitive-Digital-Raspberry/dp/B00HFQEFWQ 4-Pin Waterproof USB C Connector https://www.amazon.com/Jueyhapy-Waterproof-Charging-Interface-Connector/dp/B0BMWX239Y/ D1 Mini NodeMcu with ESP8266-12F WLAN Module https://www.amazon.com/Organizer-ESP8266-Internet-Development-Compatible/dp/B081PX9YFV 28BYJ-48 stepmotor and ULN2003 driver https://www.amazon.com/CenryKay-ULN2003-28BYJ-48-Compatible-Breadboard/dp/B086D5SXPV A simplified schematic is also included.
