Description
Medicament Ampoule for use at Orion Sphere LRP ( http://www.orionspherelrp.co.uk ). Generic standard design, made to hold a standard business-card sized lammie. Each Ampoule is 4 parts, held together using a single 30mm M6 bolt. Orion Sphere LRP is a science fiction live roleplay game that run events in the UK. Players take on the role of starship crews, companies and research institutes, as one of a host of alien species and in one of four competing Factions. Print the MainBody part with the bolt hole facing up, and ideally with a brim and some organic supports on the edge of the lammie holder arms and the middle part of the upper lammie cradle (just below the pointing arrows). The rest of the parts are less sensitive and should be fairly easy to print if sensibly placed - I printed the lids with the symbol facing up and an "X-shaped" support on the underside. To assemble, drop the bolt into the mainbody (where there is a hex-shaped recess to hold the bolt head in place) until you can pull it out the central hole. Slot the dial (right-way up) between the inner and outer dial rings. Then screw the threaded base on to prevent the dial falling out - the bolt should protrude out slightly, but no higher than the raised rim - there should be enough space to accomodate an M6 nut and housing if anyone wants to design other props to slot these ampoules into. There are 5 different Dials with slightly different internal diameters - this is to allow you to calibrate the "stickiness" of the dial depending on your printer. The Dial should be able to move relatively easily when pushed, but not be able to move freely by accident (in case you "lose" doses by accidentally nudging it). I use the ID15.5mm file, but some require a bit of sanding to get the right friction. The "standard" versions made by the game are mostly sprayed dull grey metallic, with white painted numbers on the Dial, a small amount of gold detailing on the Base, and a coloured Lid. Lids are grouped into coloured sets as follows: Med-Serum, Synthetic Platelets: Red/deep red/burgundy or similar Nano Purgatives, Radiation Nanosponges: Orange/yellow or similar Nerve Stims, Muscle Stims: Blue/light blue/teal or similar Cellular Aegis, Cryptobiotic Trigger, Neural Regulator: Purple/lilac or similar You're welcome to add embellishments, greebles, etc to your own ones, but try to keep the icons, base interface and rough profile relatively similar so that they can be interoperable with storage solutions and other props. Dials should not exceed 0-5 doses (as this affects how they interact with Exotic Substances). Please share any makes or painted versions you have, and feel free to remix your own versions. Also, let us know on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/orionspherelrp or on the OSLRP Discord. Icons are from www.game-icons.net (adapted in a few cases).
