Description
I needed to adapt my shop vac to my sander without using loads of pipes, as I started using Peter H's brilliant Camlock system, I've been on a journey to adapt all my hand tools that need dust collection to it - luckily Peter has many connectors available, but the one I needed for the Menzer sander was a bit specialised. I threw half of Sebastian's design into the mix on Tinkercad and it's now doing a great job. Not the smoothest and best looking thing in the world, but it works, and may possible work for other sanders with this hose connector, but I don't have any others to try. I think I printed mine at about 50% infill and in ‘normal’ mode with the M5C, so I believe that's a .2 layer height. I've been testing the M5C in it's basic modes for my review so I didn't notate any specific settings in the menu I'm afraid
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed for use in a workshop, specifically a camlock fitting for an orbital sander. It features a cylindrical shape with a threaded section and a mounting hole, allowing it to securely attach to an orbital sander. The bright yellow color and detailed design indicate its purpose as a functional component in a tool assembly.
