Description

This merchant's abacus (a calculator) could be printed at various scales for different purposes such as an miniature accessory or an actual calculator. This abacus can calculate to 10,000 (0 to 9999). The small joints STL file should be printed in quantity 20 to fit in each ball socket of the abacus frame. Rotate each ball joint to a position that indicates whether it is counted or not. Instructions for this abacus if assuming the columns represent the following: Starting from the right-most column is 1's Then moving to the left the next column is 10's, then 100's, then 1000's. The bottom 4 beads in each column are 1 thru 4 digit, the top single row is 5. Once the top row is turn on, then the bottom 4 rows become 6 thru 9. Following this, the example positioning in the photo shows the number 2025. For further instructions to use it as a calculator, I recommend googling “abacus” :-) This is an entry in a contest sponsored by: https://www.printables.com/@Y5HI5LOW5 Enjoy!
