It could potentially help the cool air to reach further. Just print and clip it to the air vent. Works for the U-shaped Midea window AC. Based on my experience, it does help raising the cool air. It doesn't interfere the vent closing or swinging. Tips: you can scale it down and print it as 2 or more pieces.
