Description

EDIT 2026-02-21 More model updates: To increase the clearance from the lower left magnet, I have moved the mounting bolt to the right side hole. This allows for quite a bit more clearance from the magnet, and moves the metal bolt further from the board, which will hopefully reduce interference. I also thickened up the clips a bit, as I found that over time it was loosening up. I may make a zip tie version, to prevent that ever happening. The new offsets are: x_offset: 13.5mm y_offset: 10mm EDIT 2026-01-13 I have updated the model somewhat. I moved the actual eddy probe down by 1mm, so that it is now 3mm above the tip of the nozzle, and moved the board slightly further from the magnet to give more clearance for the toolhead cover. The x_offset is now -15.2mm and y_offset is now 10mm. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: This allows you to mount the BTT Eddy probe (after removing it from it's original cover) directly to Sovol SV08, using only one M3 bolt. The clearances are very finicky to get it to work right, but it should print as oriented in the STL with no supports. it bolts into the threaded hole which holds the original SV08 bed sensor, with a finger to align it in a nearby hole on the backplate. I have also included a USB board adaptor STL, which allows you to add a USB hub to the toolhead to control the BTT-Eddy with. There is one version that uses two M2 3.2mm inserts for the USB hub board, and one that you should be able to thread the M2 bolts into the plastic. Both versions are attached by replacing the spacer between the two stock toolhead boards on the lower mounting bolt. The hub I used was an Adafruit LLC 5997, which I got from DigiKey I printed this in PCTG, as it has decent strength and temperature resistance. I realise that the black filament doesn't show up well, but it is what I had...
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed for mounting a screw into a low position. It is specifically engineered for use with the Eddy-NG system, which is a type of electrical device. The part features a low mounting configuration that allows for secure and stable installation of the screw into the device. The black and metallic components are designed to provide a secure fit and ensure proper electrical connections.
