Description
I printed in 0.1 layers. I'm sure 0.20 layers could be used but did not try. Supporting this kind of sucks but it's doable. See attached image. Honeycomb facing down. I smart-filled the honeycomb and surrounding under-area with supports, but found it was hard to take all the supports off after printing. So I used the paint supports option to exclude the corners. Helps get a finger or tool in there to pull supports off without risking snapping any of the thin-surrounding edges. About 6.9grams per PrusaSlicer - 3 grams more than the original v3 Fan Shield About double the print time due to using 0.10 layers, all the added support, +the hexagon guard. 0.20 layers and same supports cuts time to about 50 minutes.
