Description

Modified carriage for Fully 3D Printed Heat Set Press using Radio Shack 25 watt iron cat no: 64-2070C. This iron has a triangular body shape. I left part of the original 19mm round opening as it helps with some relief for the odd RS body. Same m3 nut and bolt, too. Same tight tolerances as the original build. I used PETG for all parts since that is what I had loaded. A shot of silicon spray inside the carriage body helps everything glide smoother. Pull back the rubber grip as shown in the picture. It slides back on easily if you want to use the iron stand alone for larger parts or even as a soldering iron! You also see the top cap with cord retainer and the carriage stop in this picture too. Those are posted separately.
