Description
This modular display system was inspired by the Minifigure Display by AJsRaceway on Thingiverse. I redesigned it for 1:64 scale cars, and added a few specialty modules for large vehicles and mounting hardware. UPDATE: Version 2 is now available (fully compatible with version 1). This time, rather than uploading redundant parts with slightly different air gaps (my attempt at accommodating printers of different accuracy) I am now only uploading parts with a 0.10mm air gap (a good starting point for a well-tuned printer). If your printer needs a larger or smaller gap between parts, I recommend adjusting your XY Compensation accordingly. To help with this, I am now providing a set of calibration bricks which simulate adjusting your XY Comp. Simply print the bricks with no compensation, and then try to connect the bricks using matching numbers (+.02 with +.02, for example). Once you find the number that works best, that should be the XY compensation that you want to use when printing these modules. If you're not familiar with XY compensation, feel free to message me. As previously, I've also included the original SolidWorks part for anyone who wants to tinker with it. Enjoy!
