Description

Being a father of a newborn, having decided to use re-useable nappies, wipes and liners, we were quite amazed by the amount of small things to dry. We filled an entire line with items a little smaller than socks. We already had a hanger, but we really needed something with LOTS of pegs. So I designed this! That said it's designed for sock size items, I would imagine this struggles to hold wet t-shirts before you try it and become disappointed. I printed it entirely on a Bambu A1 mini, so most printers should have a big enough build volume. I am trying to weekly design something in an hour, and this was last weeks design, it took 3 hours in the end admittedly, hope you enjoy it! Print settings/materials There is nothing overly complex about the build, just a few things to note: I printed using PETG, worked a treat, ABS might warp a bit for the long parts, so maybe fibre filled if you insist on ABS or ASA. For the centre piece, a tree support will do the trick, in fact tree supports are handy for the slight over hang of the dove tail joints For the split ring linked below, I used a 0.2mm nozzle, I tried on 0.4mm, it works, just not as nice Use a higher infill, >50% to give the structure required for the wet items I remixed this model for the peg: https://www.printables.com/model/904305-clothes-peg by ArgiCZ I added a link on the top of the peg and a linked clip to clip onto the main structure, the bellow model can link them together. I use this model for the peg links (not included in the files here, follow the link): https://www.printables.com/model/119654-split-ring-6-sizes (easy to print, oval, no3) and for the carabiner to hang to the line (not included in the files here, follow the link): https://www.printables.com/model/267210-the-suicide-carabiner (standard) Assembly Assembly is all split dovetail joints, and 100% 3D printed. I needed a small hammer (200g) to tap it together but don't hit it too hard, just persuade it in. If you need a larger/smaller tolerance, from me a comment. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Support me! Designing costs money!
