Description
This 61 mm aperture mask works as filter to reduce the brightness of the moon. It reduces the amount of light entering the telescope by 75%. I found the full moon quite bright to look at and leaving an afterimage, even after letting my eye adjust for a little while. There are moon filters to put onto the eye piece, but I didn't have one of those around. The mask works well; it reduces brightness and eliminates the afterimage effect so looking at the moon for a prolonged period of time is more relaxing. Printing instructions Imperial and Metric versions included Any material should work, in default setting Black color recommended No supports required Use instructions Simply press it onto the top of the telescope tubes/rods. Do NOT use it to look at the sun. Creator's note Hadley is a fun thing to design for, see my other add-ons in Redlow's Hadley Add-Ons Collection
